Song 231

 Song 231

Hello my fellow music lovers! Welcome back to the blog! Today's song is Into The Ground by Seether! It's a newer song of theirs, and I absoultely love it! So let's get into it!

Starting with the intro, we have this really steady drum beat, with a nice combination with the cymbols. This leads us into the first verse: "You're always afraid that you'll offend. But I'll never have an ear to lend, to keep you engaged is such a chore. And now that I'm older, I'm a bore." Now I'm not really sure what he means on this first verse, but I do however love how this is arranged. The vocals are very satisfying. The pre-chorus: "But now you're fading out, your mind is filled with filled with doubts." Okay, this part is more relatable. Because our minds lie to us all the time. But we need to remember to drown it out. The chorus: "So tell me how you bathe in glitter, and watch the city burn down. But stay unscathed as you deliver, the bodies into the ground." I really like how this sounds, the melody and the vocals all blend together perfectly. The second verse: "I'm always ashamed of things I've said, the terrible ways that I pretend. I'm wounded and jaded to my core, and I could do better that's for sure." I believe in wanting to be the best version of yourself, if you takes you a long time to get to that point, that's totally okay. As long as you learn and grow, and yeah you might mess up along the way. But as long as you remember who you are, and keep moving forward that's what counts. The pre-chorus, and the chorus repeat, then we have the bridge: "A whimper as your whole world comes falling down, you're just another spoke in the wheel. The cowering disgrace as we breathe it still, we'll breathe it still. We'll breathe it still." This part has some screaming on it, and I love that! I feel like it works really well with the tone of the song. This song kind of sounds like, 90s grunge. Which I am all for, but it also sounds modern at the same time. After the bridge, there's an instrumental part. Which is so epic, because we have that electric guitar in there. Which is really amazing. The chorus then repeats for a final time, and we have the outro, which includes lines from the bridge. "We'll breathe it still" is repeated three times. All while screaming. I think that's a really cool way to end this song.

That's it for this review, I hope you consider checking it out! Until next time, happy listening! RAWR XD :) <3
