song 230

 Song 230

Hi my fellow music lovers! Welcome back to the blog! I am very excited today, I have been dying to review this song, since I've heard the snippets of it! Today's song is Hello by Fatehartt! It's his newest song, and I am so ready to dive into this one! But before I do that, I have a little side note: I want to thank everyone who read the last review I did for him. All 38 of you, are awesome! I apprecitate it so much! Now, without further adieu. Let's get into this amazing song!

Starting with the intro, we have this I think it sounds like a bass guitar, judging by how deep the sound is. I like the pattern on it. This is paired with the drums, which sounds really cool. Really draws you in. This leads us into the first verse: "Taste the poison in the air, spoke from the hands of billionaires. Oh no they don't care, plastic kings love affair. Take the high road, look away. Treating guns like God today. Price tag, your life's on sale. Bow so low, to a king so frail." I always praise Fatehartt for his songwriting, and this is one of those time. This song is about well, it's pretty much about the government. Now I'm in Canada, but honestly our government sucks just as much as the US government. So I can still relate to this. But I like how he captures that here, also it's set to a very nice sounding beat and melody within the verses. The pre-chorus: "Oh I refuse to live this life in misery, I won't. I live this life in the sun, I'm a loaded gun." I love his voice on this section, there's just something smooth about it. That last line, kind of makes me think about how Fatehartt is using his art as a weapon, for good. I love that, because art should be about making the world better, and showing people something that makes you think. "Oh yeah I should care about this, and I should want to understand more, but at the same time. Not letting horrible people and things rule your life, like the state of the world right now is awful. But if you only focus on that, then you won't get anywhere. It will keep you from living, and then you won't enjoy anything. The chorus: "Hello, hello, hello. Is there anybody in there? Hello, hello, you got no decency. Hello, hello, hello. Is there anybody out there? Out there, out there." I think what he's saying here, he's asking like is there anybody out there who cares about what's going on. I really love how Fatehartt manages to capture exactly how people might feel about certain situations, it's what makes him a great songwriter. The vocals on this song, are just incredible! I love how clear they come through, and the almost raspy tone of his voice, I am all for! The second verse: "Worship my machine gun, I'm alright. Pray to my God, you are wrong and he is right. Remember when he said, nuclear disasters, bastards, maters of illiterate hypocrisy. Oh who me? no, no, no, don't you see? I'm one of the good guys. This slice of life, a badge in honor." For me, I do feel like sometimes, people will use religion as a weapon. Which is absurd, and is one of the reasons why I chose Panethism, (It basically means the universe is my religion) And I feel like a lot of political figures do worship violence, and they can use that tatic to have fear over people. And then they use that fear as power over people. Of course this is just my interpretation, I'm sure other people will have their own, which is great! Everyone has different feelings on what songs mean for them and that's great! The pre-chorus, and the chorus repeat. Then we have the bridge: "I'll admit it's getting better, a little better. A little better all the time. I'll admit it's getting better, a little better since you've been here. Yeah-eah, yeah-eah, yeah, yeah, yeah-eah. (This part repeats a lot) Since you've been here." I like this part, because it shows how you can find joy even in a dark place. I would also like to point out the vocals again, because I love how much control Fatehartt has with his voice on this section. The up and down on the "yeahs" of the bridge is very satisfying. I don't know, if there is a direct connection for who he's speaking about, I like to think he means us fans. I know it's gotten better for me, finding out about him. The chorus repeats again, as well as the last part of the bridge. This is also followed by and outro, which I love. When songs have outros, I am all for that! This one has this mix of guitar and drums, and I love the way it sounds.

A very deep and meaningful song, and also a very dynamic song. In terms of the lyrics, and the vocals and the instrumentals. I love the use of the bass guitar on this one, I think it fits really well with it. So please go check out this song, it is absolutely fanstastic! Until next time, happy listening, and I will see you in the next one! RAWR :) <3
