Hello my fellow music lovers! Welcome back! Today I have another song by Fatehartt! One of my favourite people to write for! This song is called fxking dread feat.Bisdonk. Now I have no idea who that other guy is, but I do like his voice! I think both of their voice blend very well on this track! So let's get into it!
No intro, the song pretty much starts right away. So we'll start with the first verse: "The hole you left in my heart, got me wasted from the start. The hole you left in my head, got me wishing I was dead. There's no more tears in my eyes, they've all dried out for every star that dies. And I know life's not fair, from the times that you weren't there." So very emotional, and raw. I love songwriting like this! It's amazing! Musically this song is very soft, while also being heavy. The soft tones and melody really add to the theme of this song, and the story that is being conveyed. The chorus: "So many questions running through my head, so many answers that are left unsaid. You raze me down till all I see is red, so bleed me dry until I'm f***** dead." The emotional torment in this song, is something else. The vocals on this are also very soft, and heavy at the same time. The second verse: "The void you left the f***** dread, the pain you left in my f***** head. Stuffed it deep inside my heart, got my mental torn apart. These f**** tears in my eyes. Thought they dried out when the stars had died, you told me life's not fair. F**** my brains like you don't care." Holy crud, I can feel the pain in this song. The angst is just so freaking good, and so deep I could swim in it. There's no doubt in my mind, that Fatehartt is not talented, this man not only has my heart, but has my respect. The chorus repeats again, with no bridge. But there is an outro. "Ooh I feel the pain, I feel insane. Like tear drops in the rain, fade away another passing day." This is just pure perfection, raw emotional songwriting at it's finest! :)
