song 133 Redo

 Song 133-Redo

Hey everyone, you may be confused about the number here. Well I am redoing song 133 because that song was an AI generated song. I didn't know it at the time, I was skeptical. It was hard for me to figure out it was. But looking back, I realized that it was an AI song. I should've known, because there was hardly any information about the artist. So now, I am making up for this mistake. And I am replacing it with an actual song, by an actual human. The song is We Don't Have To Dance by Andy Black (which is Andy Biersack from BVB solo name) I don't think I've ever reviewed this song before, so I figured this was a good one to do. I just want you all to know, this is not what this blog is about, I don't support AI artists at all. I just got scammed, and I was unsure. But now I know, and I will never review an AI song again. So without further adieu, let's get into this real song!

Starting with the intro, we have this popping sound. I like it, sounds unique. This is then accompanied by guitar, bass. Leading us into the first verse: "Record scratch, Steve Miller Band. Tattooed necks and tattooed hands. Oh, how don't you drown in a rainstorm? Fresh regrets, vodka sweats. The sun is down and we're bound to get, exhausted and so far from the shore." I'm not sure what is being implied here, so I'll just continue on. The pre-chorus: "You're never gonna get it, I'm a hazard to myself. I'll break it to easy. This is hell, this is hell. You're looking and whispering, you think I'm someone else. This is hell, yes. Literal hell." Okay now this part, is talking about how we're our own worst enemy sometimes. And how we can be in our own personal hells, within our minds especially. The chorus: "We don't have to talk, we don't have to dance. We don't have to smile, we don't have to make friends. It's so nice to meet you, let's never meet again. We don't have to talk, we don't have to dance. We don't have to dance." Coming from my own struggles with social situations, I relate to this part. I have bad social anxiety, it comes from being autistic. So I get what is being said here, it's why I avoid certain social events. The second verse: "Bottles smash, I raise my hand. How can you all even stand it, why is there joy in this poison? Oh. Faking smiles and confidence, driving miles to capture this excitement. I can't take anymore, oh." I really love the vocals on this song, and honestly Andy's voice is smooth like butter. Plus I also love the melody, it's very catchy. And even though the song is called We Don't Have To Dance, it makes me want to dance. Lol. The pre-chorus changes slightly, near the end of it. "This is hell, yes. I am in hell." This part is confirming, that he's going through a lot. The chorus repeats again, with this awesome instrumental part. The blare of the electric, is pure perfection. There's no bridge, but there is a part when the chorus repeats, Andy holds a note for a little longer. It sounds awesome! Then near the end, the word "talk" is repeated, and the more it repeats the quieter Andy's voice gets. I like that it's his voice fading out, with the outro. It's a nice touch. A really great song, and the music video is pretty good too. If you want to check that out!

That's it for this redo! I hope you all like it, and I will continue on with my current content moving forward. See you next time! :)
