Song 214

 Song 214

Hello, my fellow music lovers! Today I have the honor and the privilege of reviewing Fatehartt's new song Smile! :) It's an incredible song, written by an incredible person. Someone who I have come to think the world of. :) Huge thank you to Christian for letting me write this up, I really appreciate it. And thank you so much for reading these. You have no idea how much it means to me. And thank you for being you <3 Okay now on with the review!

Starting with the intro, we have this really cool combo between drums and guitar. Which I was intrigued by from the start. It's fast paced, and really sets up the song. This leads us into the first verse: "You never put an ounce of faith in me, who cares what you say. I'm never gonna play your games." This is a perfect example of not listening to what anyone says or thinks about you, I love that. The pre-chorus: "What a time to be alive, woah oh oh baby. Turn that frown upside down. What a time to be alive." This part could be analyzed in a few ways, like for example the state of the world right now, is such a scary place. For a number of reasons, so my interpretation of "what a time to be alive" is how messed up the world is right now. The chorus: "What a wonderful surprise that you're sick, sick, sick. You wear your jealousy like a fashion statement. We're here dying for a good time, so I trial blueberry amphetamines. Just to be happy, just be happy. Smile for the cameras, give them a show." I almost feel like this could be about not showing how you truly feel to the world, like when you put on a fake smile. But inside your screaming and crying, I could be reading this wrong. But that's kind of what I get from that. This song as a whole is about jealousy and haters, which I think Fatehartt has written very well. There's an instrumental part after the chorus, with some added breaking effects, on the vocals. I like that, sounds cool. The second verse: "I ain't no doctor but I know a thing or two about, inking poetic with their blood. You're just another sacrifice at the altar." Fatehartt is such a good songwriter, especially when it comes to story telling. I can also see his own experiences shining through in this song, which makes it more relatable. Because music should connect us to our feelings, and to the world. Fatehartt does both with his writing. Also that line "inking poetic with their blood" I find that so cool, and I'm not sure entirely what this means. But I still think it's very deep, and raw. Then the chorus repeats, there's an instrumental part again. Followed by "Smile" in the most clear scream I've ever heard. It's very impressive! Another instrumental, before the chorus repeats again. No bridge, but there is an outro. Which sounds very satisfying as this masterpiece comes to an end. I also need to say something about the clean vocals on this track, I love that I can really hear his voice on this one. It comes through very clear, and very clean. I love that! Because he has such an incredible voice! There's also an animated music video that goes along with this track, and I think you should check that out as well. Because I love all the editing on it, it's quite visually stunning. (I really loved the invader zim part, because I love that show) A very wonderful song, and I hope you all go check it out!

Christian, I feel like this is some of your best work so far! I'm so proud of you, the song is wonderful, and I hope it becomes a huge hit for you! :) I love you! <3

That's it for this review, I have more planned for this month. So stay tuned for that, and until then I will see you all in the next one! RAWR :) <3
