song 211

 Song 211

Hello my fellow music lovers! Welcome back to the blog! Today I'm reviewing another song by Fatehartt! It's call My Friend Misery, huge thank you to Christian for this opportunity! Okay let's get into it!

Starting with the intro we have this very nice back and forth, with the guitar strings. I love how that sounds. This is backed up with some drum action, very nice. This leads us into the first verse: "Say hello to my friend she is called misery, she don't like the way I tear the flesh from my bones. Seven days have passed since we last spoke my friend. Three cheers to the misery we feel." I like how his voice starts off kind of quiet, but gradually gets louder with each word. The chorus: "Say hello, say goodbye to my friend misery. Rest assured you'll be fine, don't be scared misery. Curtain call my sweet friend now I crawl from my grave, so three cheers to my friend to my friend misery." Very catchy chorus, with a lot to say. This is my interpretation of what this means, I think it's talking about our connection with the sad part of our souls. And how powerful it can be, misery is a very complex and powerful emotion. I feel like Fatehartt expresses that so well in this song. The second verse: "Say hello, misery, treat me well. Paramedics and the sirens sing me to sleep, the flames have engulfed us here in this town. Where the ghosts in my skin, cauterize my fear." He's very lyrically talented, I always appreciate how deep his lyrics are. Fatehartt is a very good songwriter, not just because of his lyric skills. But also because he knows how to tell a story with his songs, something I admire about him. The chorus repeats, and then we have the bridge: "Welcome back from the dead, there's that look in your eye. You made it this far, go knock them dead." In other words, don't let that emotion take full control. At least that's how I see this part. When I say I love his voice, I really mean it! He has such an incredible voice, very dynamic and soulful. And let me tell you he can scream! And it sounds amazing! Then the chorus repeats a final time, with this interesting outro. One line is repeated three times, and it sounds really cool the way he set it up. "So three cheers, so three cheers to ya. So three cheers, so three cheers from my friend. From my friend. Misery. Misery." And before that last misery, there's a drum instrumental I like that. I think it's a fun way to close out the song.

That's it for this review! Thank you Christian once again, I am so grateful I got to write this for you! Love you so much! <3 and I hope you all go give this, and his other songs a listen because trust me it's worth it! Until next time, RAWR XD and happy listening! :p
