Hey everybody, welcome back to the blog! Today I have a song by an upcoming artist. His name is Fatehartt, and this is one of his songs, which is called Light In The Dark. He started out in 2020, and have been trying to put his work out there. I believe he can go far in the scene, because he has very good writing skills, and production skills as well. It's a shame that he can't make music videos for his songs, because I feel like he could do amazing work with the lyrics of his songs. Now it's time for the review! 

So what I would call the intro, is a little drum introduction. But it quickly goes into the first verse. Here are the lyrics "I roll out of bed, woke up in a frenzy. I watched the light leave her eyes. The other night, the panic begins to set. And the dread begins to fade." I really like the lyrics, and musically it's really cool. It reminds me of MCR, and another band that I can't quite put my finger on. The pre-chorus: "If I fall into this whiskey well, can I break this never ending spell." This part here, has me thinking that he tried to solve his problems with drinking. Of course this is just my interpretation. The chorus:  "I hold in my hand, a light in the dark. Sealed with a kiss, it burns so bright. There is a light in the dark. An inverse shadow, I'll mourn in regret." I like the message here, because there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Eventually the sun comes back out, and you can breathe again. I know I have had my share of dark moments, but I always remember the light does come back. There's a little instrumental part after this section. I really like the use of drums and guitar here, it sounds really cool. It also has that 2000s feel almost, which I really love. The second verse: "I feel like a ghost, I've lost all my senses. I watched all my friends die. The other night, the panic begins again. Now I'll mourn in regret, all around me are familiar faces. Oh, what I would give. To trade places." I know first hand what it's like to lose friends. None of them died, but I have lost friends for one reason or another. And sometimes it was no reason at all. So I find that part relatable. Then the chorus repeats a couple more times, before ending with an outro. I like that there's lyrics at the end. "So as you shut their eyes, we defy the pain. In our hearts contain. A light in the dark." *sigh* so deep, and meaningful. I love it! Also his vocals are really interesting, he sounds like a mix of different singers. Really pretty voice actually. Would love to hear acoustic versions of his songs one day, I think he would pull them off really well.
