Hello everyone, welcome back to the blog! I have been in my feels lately, so today's song will be a love song.  Because I love my person, and they make me happy. So this song is for them. :) The song I have chosen is 6 months by Hey Monday. Even though we've known each other for almost two years now, I still really like the theme of this song. The intro is very slow, and soothing. A great way to start a romantic song. Taking us into the first verse: "You're the direction I follow, to get home. When I feel like I can't go on, you tell me to go. And it's like I can't feel a thing, without you around. Don't mind me if I get weak in the knees, cause you have that effect on me. You do." All of this is true, because I'm a very anxious person but when I talk to them. Everything feels like it's ok, and it's just us. The chorus: "Everything you say, every time we kiss I can't think straight. But I'm okay. And I can't think of anybody else, who I hate to miss as much as I hate missing you." I do hate missing them, we live so far away from each other. Yet we're so connected at the same time. But those times when I do get to hang out with them, it's worth it. Second verse: "Months going strong now, and no goodbye. Unconditional, unoriginal. Always by my side. Meant to be together, made for no one but each other. You love me, I love you harder so." I feel like I love them harder lol, they mean so much to me. I never want to say goodbye to him again, they are my person. The bridge: "So please give me your hand, so please give me a lesson on how to steal. Steal a heart as fast as you stole mine, as you stole mine. Yeah." They really did steal my heart, he has my heart in spades. At the end we have this line: "So please give me your hand, so please just take my hand." I really hope I get to hold hands with them one day, that would be amazing.
