Hey my fellow music lovers, I've been going through a bit of a dry spell with my other blog. I just haven't felt inspired to write a short story, so I thought I would put up a new song review for everyone. This song is Stay by Mayday Parade, honestly this band is really cool. I love their voices, especially when they harmonize. I just really like the melody of this song, it flows really well. There were some lyrics that stuck with me, they go like this: "if you believe that everything's alright, you won't be all alone tonight." That's what I've been trying to do, but I have a lot of lonely nights. Long distance is freaking hard dude! I miss my boyfriend a lot, especially lately. But aside from that, this song is about wanting someone to stay. In my case I want my person to stay, I worry about them a lot. We're both neurodivergent which comes with it's obstacles, but I still love my boyfriend. There are just times when I wish he was here you know? I'm sure other long distance couples could understand. Sorry I seem to always talk about my personal life in these. Back to the song, "oh can you tell I haven't slept very well, since the last time that we spoke."           "I'm not strong enough for the both of us, what was I supposed to do you know I love you." Those lines really hit me, I just can't imagine my life without them no matter how hard it is. Ok that's it for now, again sorry for the personal information dump I'm just missing him a lot right now.

Hey music lovers! I have a new review coming at you tonight! (drum roll) Lunar Dreams by Misfit Shadows!!! This song is very soothing, I love the calming smooth melody. The vocals on this are also very soothing, easy to get lost in. I thought this song was very romantic, and it made me think of my favourite person. side note: I have to give credit where credit is due, and because I'm so proud of them for this. My boyfriend co-wrote this song!!! I swear he's so cool, I'm always so impressed with the things they do. It's one of the reasons why I love him. Okay back to the song, one of the lyrics I love are "say you'll never leave me, even when you are so far away. Cause I'm never gonna leave your side." So sweet! So this song is special to me in more than one way, I highly recommend you check it out! So go right now, you know you want to! The song itself is just really pretty, and I feel at peace when I listen to it. So if you're into that then you will like this masterpiece!

Hello! Welcome back to song reviews! Today's song is What you Make it by With Confidence! Now I've done a song by them before, it was Dinner Bell (which is also amazing) But I started listening to What you Make It today, and It freaking rocks! The vocals are sick, and I love the arrangement on this one. The instruments are perfectly in synch, and I like the lyrics they fit well with the melody. It kind of reminds me of another song, like a Nickelback song I think I just can't think of what song. It's really catchy, and edgy a perfect emo song. With a great message about how everyone has their own views on life, and how to live it. The pattern is a 1,2,3 beat so I guess that means it's easy to follow along. (I don't think that's right lol) anyway, it's soooo good and you should check it out right now! Get on to wherever you listen to music and look it up! I promise you won't be disappointed! There's a little bit of a guitar solo in this song as well, which is awesome I love a good guitar solo. Well that's about it for this review, now go check it out!!!

Happy Pride everyone! Today's song is a message for this month, it's This Is Me from the greatest showman. I loved that movie, and this is one of my favourite songs from it. This is me, is about not letting people tell you who to be. It's about living your life freely, without any boundaries or restraints. In other words it's about living life the way you were meant to. "I won't let them break me down to dust, I know that there's a place for us, for we are glorious. When the sharpest words wanna cut me down, I'm gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out. I am brave, I am bruised, I am who I'm meant to be. This is me." I'll even sing this song sometimes to remind me who I am :) It's such a powerful song, and the instrumentals are wonderful they go amazingly with the vocals of the singer. That's pretty much all I can say about this song, I hope you give it a listen if you haven't already. 

A message for pride: never let anyone tell you who you're supposed to be, only you can decide who you are. Live loud, live proud, live free :) and if you're still in the closet for whatever reason, that's okay too. Take your time, and please know there's a whole community that has your back! Love is love no matter gender or orientation. I love you all and I hope you have a fantastic pride month!

Hello everyone! Welcome back to music reviews, I know it’s been awhile but I’ve been dealing with mental stuff, and I’ve been very emotional. I’m doing okay though, just sometimes my brain goes dark and I get wrapped up in certain things. Anyway on with the song! Okay todays song is Never Too Late by Three Days Grace! This song is freaking amazing! The message in this song is for anyone who might be struggling, the lyrics go “even if I say it will be alright, still I hear you say, you want to end your life.” This really hit home for me, because there is so many people out there who think that way. Even when people who love them say everything is gonna be okay, they don’t believe them. But sometimes the mind lies to us, and wants us to think we would be better off not existing. Another line is “again we try to just stay alive, maybe we’ll turn it around, cause it’s not too late, it’s never too late” that is so true, it’s never too late to ask for help. I know it can be scary, and it may feel like it won’t work. But there is always someone out there who will help you, and understand what you’re going through. The first step is trying, tell someone you trust, a parent, a friend, a therapist, a teacher, a significant other, whoever they may be. Thank you :) if you or someone you know is thinking about ending their life, don’t be afraid to reach out. There’s always something to live for, this world is going to need everyone it can get to make it better. Don’t forget that :) I hope you give this song a listen, it just might be what you need right now :)

Hello everyone, welcome back to music reviews! Today's song is (drum roll) Animal I have become by Three Days Grace. The beat/melody of this song is sooooo cool! I love it! and the lyrics are pretty sick too. "somebody get me through this nightmare, I can't control myself" so awesome, it has this dark rock vibe which is very unique. Right away with the intro, the bass line pulls you in. Followed by the guitar, then the verse starts with some killer vocals. I don't know anything about this band, I just think they sound cool. So if you like songs with the emo/rock vibe this is a good song for you! and the lead singer has an amazing voice, I love listening to this one because I pretend I'm on stage sometimes and I lip synch this song. I pretend to be this creepy sort of rocker chick, and it's fun :)  (I know I'm a weirdo, deal with it lol) well that pretty much wraps this song up, I hope you check it out :)

Hi everybody! music reviews are back! Also happy Friday! Today's song is Dinner Bell by With Confidence, this song is six years old! But honestly people good music never goes out of style, this song again was brought to me by my wonderful boyfriend, thank you babe :) so I love the beat and the arrangement of the instruments in this one, the person has an amazing voice and I love the bridge soooooo much! It goes like this "I guess I'll just sink back down into the ground and I'll burn for the sins that you have found, in the corner of my room where anger sits with clouded minds yeah souls will split. Down the middle of my life, where I just stare. At the walls of contempt that stands so bare, amongst the stars we are just specks of dust. blown in by the wind and turned to rust. There are eighteen steps till I walk by, and the cosmic colours will make you cry. And every tear you shed will feed my thoughts, and our hands will touch and turn into knots." It's also attached to the outro which I find very cool, the way this song is laid out is very interesting there's like three verses before they get to the bridge, one of them includes the chorus. Usually songs go like this: verse 1, chorus, verse 2, chorus, bridge, chorus, outro. I know that's not the case of every song, but that's typically how they go. This song goes: verse 1, chorus, verse 2, chorus, verse three, bridge/outro it's really neat!
