Song 55

 Song 55

Hello my fellow music lovers! Welcome back to the blog, hope everyone had a good week! I hope you all have a good weekend, and enjoy yourselves. Today's song is If It Means A Lot To You by A Day To Remember! Let's go! This song is so beautiful, and I also find it fun to dance to. Even though it's a bit of a slower song, I can still groove to it. I believe this song is done on the acoustic guitar, with backing instrumentals throughout the song. A romantic track as well, there's another voice on this track. I unfortunately don't know who she is, but I like her voice I think it fits well with the guys. "If you can wait till I get home, then I swear to you. That we can make this last." So sweet, I just really love sweet and romantic songs. They feed my soul and my heart, and they make me imagine the relationship I want in the future. I just know I'm gonna be singing every love song I know to the lucky guy, lol I hope he doesn't mind that I sing 24/7. Anyway, if you close your eyes you can almost see the story the song is portraying. I think this song is about a long distance relationship that didn't last, I can deffinately relate to that. But it wasn't just the distance in my case, there was more to the break up. But that's not why we're here, the reason I think this song is about a failed relationship is because of this line. "You know you can't give me what I need, and even though you mean so much to me. I can wait through everything, is this really happening?" "I swear I'll never be happy again, and don't you dare say we can just be friends." That has me believe that things didn't work out between these two. Even though at the beginning of the song, it seems like everything was fine. It just goes to show, that not everything is as it seems. And even though it may feel right, you know deep down it's wrong. So a very interesting song indeed, great melody, great story, great vocals. A wonderful masterpiece.

And that's a wrap, hope you can check out this track! My next post isn't a song review that I'm planning, what I have in store is a post about the structures of songs. So be on the lookout for that, if you are interested in learning song construction :) And if you don't give this a read, then I'll turn all the pictures in your house upside down hehe ;) have a great day/night/evening/afternoon wherever you are in the world, take care of yourselves. And never give up! *hugs* <3

Song 54

 Song 54

Hello everyone! Happy March, welcome back to my blog!  Hope everyone is having a good week, thank you everyone who saw my last review. I appreciate it so much, yes it was only three of you. But I still love it if anyone reads these at all, it means the world to me. Okay, onto today's song. It's another Motionless in White song, it's called Sign Of Life. Just like with Porcelain, this is off their latest album. When I tell you this is a freaking good song, I am not exaggerating. This song is a flipping masterpiece! And the music video, OMG is it next level! The opening is kind of hard to explain because there is a lot going on, it sounds like the drums and guitar plus another sort of electronic sound all mushed together. But it works well together. They are a metalcore band, so maybe that has something to do with it. Also again with the awesome song writing, I swear this band has such a magical way with lyrics. My favourite part is the chorus, but near the end of the song they switch the lyrics. For example this is the chorus through most of the song: "You fall away into the light, where numbness and pain are synchronized." But when it gets to the outro the lyrics are: "So pull me close and twist the knife, and drag me to hell with heaven's lies." That part for some reason, just scratches an itch in my brain and I love it. This is also part of the chorus: "If there's a grave behind my eyes, then how do the dead find a, find a sign of life?" It's just "chef's kiss" is what the kids say I guess lol. Anyway, have you ever found a song that was so good you wanted to inject it into your veins? That is how I would describe this song! And watching the music video, it really plays well if the story that comes through. Songs are just stories set to music after all. Vocals are killing it as always, Chris has such an amazing voice. And the other guys (I don't know all their names sorry) they have awesome backing vocals, that really ties this whole thing together.

That is it for this review, I hope you check it out. Please do yourselves a favor and check out the music video as well, I promise it is so worth it! I really hope you all give this a read, and if you don't then I will break into your house, and steal the legs off your kitchen table ;) hehe, once again thank you to everyone who reads these. Love you all! <3

Song 53

 Song 53

Hello my fellow music lovers! How is everyone? Welcome back to music reviews from your token emo girl! Hehe :) Today's song is (drum roll) Porcelain by Motionless in White! Yay! Alright so this song is from their recent album Scoring The End Of The World, and it is a really beautiful song. Chris's range is so impressive, the way he can go from raw screaming to soft and gentle is amazing! The reason I love this song in particular is because of the wording, I always appreciate good song writing. This band's song writing is next level, I love it so much! For example check out these lyrics: "I've broken my vows to reconcile, I shattered your and left a crack in your smile." Just wow! Also I love the arrangement on this song, it's one of their more softer songs but still has incredible impact. I can deffinitly hear drums and guitar, but there's also this synth sort of sound. Which I think works well on this track. I get transported whenever I hear this song, well this one and their song Masterpiece. It takes you to another world almost, and you can really understand the story. (Plus guys, their music videos are freaking amazing and you should really check them out) There's a little screaming on this track, but it ties in with the rest of the melody smoothly. I love a smooth transition in music, whether it's vocal or instrumental. I also appreciate a smooth key change. The point or lesson of this song at least to me, everyone has their own interpretation of things. But at least to me, I feel like this song is about breaking someone's heart or spirit, and now feeling guilty for it. Something I'm sure everyone can relate to in some way, whether you were on the receiving end or the one doing it. But everyone makes mistakes, and we can always learn from them. It helps us grow as people, and that's a really beautiful thing.

Well that pretty much wraps up this review! Thank you so much for everyone who is reading these, it means everything to me. This is something I love to do, sharing my love of music with other people is amazing! I hope I have persuaded you to listen to this track, and have a great day/night/evening/afternoon. Wherever you are in the world! This is my last review for February, so I will see all of you in March! Take care :) Rawr XD <3

Song 52

 Song 52

Hello my fellow music lovers! Welcome back to music reviews! Before I get into today's song, I would like to say a huge thank you to the seven people who read my last review! I appreciate it so much! Also Valentine's Day is tomorrow, so to all the lovebirds out there I hope you enjoy the day. And to all my fellow single people, happy single awareness day! Just because you don't have a significant other doesn't mean you can't enjoy yourself, take yourself out to dinner, you deserve it! Okay on with the song! Today's song is Love Bites by Ice Nine Kills, feat. Chelsea Talmadge! Woo! Yeah! Okay, so this song I find very romantic. It's about a werewolf who thinks he's dangerous, and wants his girlfriend to kill him. But she loves him, and wants him to live. The chorus goes like this: "so howl at the moon, oh how can it be? The softer the skin, the shaper the teeth. With nowhere to go, nothing to believe, I'm counting on beauty to kill off the beast." Isn't that beautiful? It's also sad, but so romantic. The melody is also very nice and easy, the voices blend very well together. Also at the beginning before the actual song starts, there's a wolf howl that plays. I think that's very clever, and ties in with the story. There's for sure piano at the beginning of this track, to set the scene. Then they come in with the guitar, then following the chrous is where the drums kick in. I really love the instrumentals on this, they all sound so good played in that soft romantic tone. "Safe in my arms you will lay, cause every dog has its day." She says this to him, telling him that she will keep him safe, and help him. At the end of the song, he says: "So just put me down." Like nooo! Please don't put him down, he's not that dangerous. Anyway, I like the concept of this song. I like werewolves, so I found this interesting. Also Ice Nine Kills is my hyperfixation band right now, they're just so good!

That's it for this review, as always I hope you give this song a chance. I hope I have convinced you to check it out, have a great day tomorrow whatever you have planned. I might watch one of my fav movies, who knows! I will see you in the next review! Keep rocking, RAWR XD <3

 Song 51

Hello my fellow music nerds/music enthusiasts/ music people! Welcome back to music reviews, my name is Grace and I am going to introduce myself in this post, to any new readers of this blog! I am 20 years old, my pronouns are she/her, I live in Canada, I'm autistic, my special interests are music/The Nightmare Before Christmas/Corpse Bride/Miraculous Ladybug/Plushies. I actually collect plushies, especially Skelanimals I love them! I don't have a job because working is too stressful for me so I have disability money that I get every month to support myself a little bit. I still live at home with my family, I have two dogs a pug and a dachsund. I am also demisexual, and very single lol. I love axolotls, they are one of my favourite animals, and I love to dance/sing/write. I am also obsessed with the 2000s, and I am also an emo chick. I am a Pantheist, and what that means is my religion is space. The planets and stars are my type of deity, and I believe when people die their souls become stars. That is pretty much me :) I started this blog back in 2022, and I wanted to write about the music I love in a way to share it with other people.

Okay now onto the song, since it's February and valentine's day is coming up I thought I would share my favourite love song. I have already reviewed this song in a album review, but this time I am doing it as an individual song. The song is called James Dean and Audrey Hepburn by sleeping with sirens. I love both versions of this song, but the acoustic version is very special to me. "they say that love is forever, your forever is all that I need. Please stay as long as you need, can't promise that things won't be broken but I swear that I will never leave. Please stay, forever with me." It's such a beautiful song, about true love. I want a relationship like this one day, it would be so nice. On the acoustic version I love how slow and romantic the melody is, I love singing this one. The original version is so cool, I love the fast paste tempo and Kellin's voice is just so diverse. He can go from really high screaming, to soft and delicate. From the vocals and the instrumentals, this song is such a perfect way to tell the person you love how much you mean to them. A wonderful valentine's day song, and just a wonderful song in general.

Well that's it for this review, I hope you all have a great week and a wonderful valentine's day or as I call it single awareness day hehe :) until next time my music lovers <3 Rawr XD

Song 50

 Song 50

Here we are my 50th song review! Today's song is The Harold Song by Kesha! Now I don't listen to Kesha that often, there are songs of hers that I like. But I don't listen to everything by her, I stumbled upon this song last night. I loved the lyrics, and the melody. Especially this part here "Young love murdered, that is what this must be." I felt that, it really put things into perspective for me. The whole song is about lost love, and a relationship that wasn't meant to last. Even though she loved this person, it wasn't right. At least that's how I see it, anyway I like the upbeat sort of electronic sound to this song. I like some electronic music, just not all of it. This song is also about missing that person that left, "they say that true love hurts, well this could almost kill me." That's totally what I felt when my heart broke. But healing is a process, and I'm doing ok. "Promised that this would last forever, but now I see it was my past life." Just leaving him in past has really been a great thing for me, I feel like I needed to hear this song. Almost like the universe telling me that it's ok to let go, and how you've been doing good through all this. Music is so powerful, and I love how it can help us heal and learn. That's really all I have to say about this song, I really love it.

I hope I convinced you all to listen to this song, I think you would love it. Especially if you like Kesha, and her past music. True her manager was terrible, and she is in a better place now then when she was in the 2000s. But I truly believe this song will be good for someone who went through a break up. Hope you have a wonderful day/night/evening where ever you are in the world. Thank you to my fellow music nerds who read my reviews it means the world to me. Much love to all RAWR <3

song 49

 Song 49

Hello everybody! Happy New Year! I am so glad last year is over, I am just looking forward now, and continuing to find myself again. It's a fresh start! I am getting back into my blogging, starting with tonight's song-Caraphernelia by Pierce the Veil. (can you believe I've almost done 50 song reviews?!) this song is very cool to listen to, I love the lyrics and the instrumentals on this track. Also Vic Fuentes has a crazy voice in the best possible way! "What if I can't forget you? I'll burn your name into my throat, I'll be the fire that'll catch you." I really like their lyric writing style, a lot of their songs feel like they're speaking right to you. "What's so good about picking up the pieces? What if I don't even want to?" That part in particular really got to me because of what happened last year, I love when there's songs people can personally relate to. I also love the screaming parts on this track, they are so freaking good! The outro of this song really makes you wonder, "what's so good about picking up the pieces? (what's so good about, what's so good about) "what's so good about picking up the pieces?" The song ends on the question. I believe that means it's open to interpretation from the listeners, for me I think they're talking about piecing your heart back together. Which is what I have been doing, putting myself back together. I've always found broken hearts to be tragically beautiful, even my own. Because even though the heart is broken, it's not gone. So to answer the question in this song, I would say what's good about picking up the pieces is the fact you still have a heart that can be healed.

That is it for my first song review of the year! I hope I persuaded some of you to check out this song if you haven't already, I promise you won't be disappointed. Especially if you love punk rock music like me, or if you are a new pierce the veil fan and are looking for recommendations. I hope you get the chance to check out this review, it means the world to me when people read my stuff. There is much more to come with this blog, so stay tuned. Be Kind, Be generous, Be unique, Be different, and always be yourself :) Until next time RAWR
