Album Edition 2

 Album Edition 2

Hello! Welcome back to Music Reviews! I have another album I want to go over tonight! And yes it's another Sleeping With Sirens album, because they are one of my hyperfixations right now and I just think their music is great! Okay so the album is called How it Feels to Be Lost. We start the album off at Leave it all behind. This was the first song I listened to off this album and I LOVE it!! It has such a nice beat, I love the lyrics and it's just all round great to listen to. Song 2 is called Never Enough featuring Benji Madden, this is a great dance song. I haven't tried dancing to this yet, but I would like to. The beat just has this groove to it, that makes you want to move! Song 3 is the album title, I love the lyrics of this song! The pre chorus is this "for every step that I take I take three steps back, it's like a punch to the face, it's like a knife right in the back." Eeeee I love it! Song 4 is Agree to Disagree, this song is about arguing I think. I haven't fully grasped the lyrics yet, all I know is the words are "I'm doing fine by myself, I never asked for your help. I think it's best we, agree to disagree." So it could be about someone trying to help you, but not wanting that person's opinions. Song 5 is Ghost, the bridge in this song is so cool. I love how Kellin's voice goes a little quiet, and there's soft instrument noise. It kind of gives it a creepy vibe, which is sick! Song 6 is called Blood Lines. This song is about not following in your parents footsteps, and paving your own path in life. Song 7 is called break me down. This song is about not letting other people tell you how to live your life. Song 8 is Another Nightmare, I thought this one was really catchy and I feel like it's an apology song. Telling the person that they are sorry for being so rude or mean or for not being there, or anything else really. Song 9 is P.S. Missing You. The title really says it all for this one, it's about missing somebody, and feeling alone now that they're gone. Song 10 is Medicine (Devil in my head) It's kind of an edgy song, I like the lyrics "the monster's inside, the monster is me." I like songs like that. And finally the last song is Dying to Believe. It's a slower song, I like how at the end of these albums they have a soothing, slow song it really helps wrap up the story of the album. This song has such a nice melody, it gets a little faster in the chorus but everything else is still there. I think Dying to Believe is a hidden message, the way I interpret this is that everyone wants to believe in something. Sometimes we get so lost in trying to find that special thing to believe in it can feel like dying. I really like this album, as well as complete collaspe they are such great songs on each oth them, and everybody needs to listen to them right now lol

Hope you enjoyed this review, please feel free to comment what other sleeping with sirens albums I should listen to. I would really appreciate that! Stay tuned for the next review, stay happy and healthy. And remember it's okay to not be okay! Love you all Rawr XD

Album edition

 Album Edition

Hey there my fellow emos/alternative people! Also just everyone in general! Tonight I'm doing something a little different, I am going over a whole album instead of just one song! The album I'll be reviewing is called Complete Collapse by Sleeping with Sirens!! I freaking love this whole entire album, every single song tells a different story. The album was released in 2022, with 12 tracks. The first song on the album is called Tyrants. This song has all the right amount of edgy, and powerful vocals that lead singer Kellin Quinn showcases amazingly. I also love all the screams in this song. Song 2 is the title of the album, I enjoyed this track because of the beat. Earlier when I was doing my toe touching exercise, I found this song to be a great companion with my action. It kept me motivated, and in rhythm. The third track is called Crosses. They actually sing this with another band called Underoath and Spencer. Their voices blend really well together on this track, and has that punk rock feel every emo loves! The fourth track is called Family Tree, this song is about losing a family member because of their toxic behavior. one of the lines is "all you gave me was your last name" meaning that is all that family member gave him, nothing else. The fifth track on this album is called Let You Down, featuring Charlotte Sands. This was the first song I listened to on this album, and I immediately loved it! This song is about always being there for someone, and Charlotte has an amazing voice! The sixth song is called Be Happy. They sing this song with Royal and the Serpent. I think this song is about high expectations, the lyrics are "I should be happy but I'm not, can anyone else relate?" I think everyone can relate to that, we all have moments in our lives where we think we're supposed to be happy but we're actually either sad or angry. I think this song is talking about the expectation we put on ourselves to be happy in front of everyone else, when in reality we're all struggling underneath. The seventh song is called Us. Which they sing with an artist called Dorothy. I think this song is about a relationship that is going through some changes, I could be wrong but I'll let you decide for yourselves. The eighth song is called Ctrl+Alt+Del. I'm not really sure what it's about but I love the screams on this one, and I bob my head to it. The ninth song is called Bloody Knuckles. I love the arrangement of this one, the instruments are really cool in this one, and I love the melody. I can picture myself in a music video for this one, and I think it would be a good dance song. The tenth song is called Mr. Nice Guy. This song is about not letting people push you around anymore, and to get up and fight essentially. That's what I took away from it, I'm sure other people might see it differently. The eleventh song is called Apathetic. This song actually reminds me of another song, I just can't put my finger on it. Maybe a song from the 80s? It definitely has that vibe to it. It's a very easy listening song, I just like the vibe it has. The last track is called Grave. This is honestly of my favourite tracks off this whole album, it's a slower song showing off Kellin's voice very nicely. Kellin has a very unique voice, it's different in the best possible way. This song has beautiful lyrics, and I think it's a great way to end this amazing album!

That's it for this post! Please check out this album and their other ones as well. I promise you won't regret it! Until next time Rawr XD love you all!

song 12

Song 12

Hellooooooo yes I am back from the dead, lol! Welcome back to music reviews! I hope everyone had happy and healthy holidays, and I hope 2023 is treating you well so far! My song for tonight is (drum roll please) Bulletproof Love by Pierce the Veil. I only heard part of this song from watching emo tiktoks, and one day decided to listen to it. I'm glad I did because I freaking love it!! Especially this part "My love for you was bulletproof but you're the one who shot me" I just smile when I hear, and I love singing along as best I can. The screams are really cool on this track, I can picture the story this song is telling in my mind and I feel like I'm living it every time I hear this song. Well that's about it for this song review I hope you enjoyed it, and stay tuned for the next one! Rawr XD to my fellow emos, and to everyone across the globe! Peace and love always!
